Undergraduate Admission into Mercy Medical University Degree Programmes
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the undergraduate degree programmes of Mercy Medical University, Iwo, Nigeria, for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Admission is open into programmes across the following colleges:
College of Allied Health Sciences
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc)
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
- Doctor of Physiotherapy (D. Physio)
- Doctor of Optometry (D. Opt.)
- Bachelor of Radiography (B. Rad.)
- Bachelor of Audiology (B. Aud.)
College of Medicine
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
- Bachelor of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (BCAM)
- Bachelor of Community Health Science (BCHS)
- Bachelor of Healthcare Administration and Hospital Management (BHAHM)
- Bachelor of Public Health Science (BPHS)
College of Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Doctor of Pharmacy (D. Pharm.)
Mode of Admission
UTME Candidates
- Must have taken the 2026 UTME Examination.
- Must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 150.
- Must have chosen Mercy Medical University as first choice or apply for Change of Institution through a JAMB Accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office.
- Must possess five (5) relevant O’Level credits: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- O’Level credits must be obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
Direct Entry Candidates
- Must have obtained the JAMB Direct Entry Form.
- Must possess five (5) relevant O’Level credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Accepted qualifications include Advanced Level result, IJMB, JUPEB, National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit, or a relevant degree from a recognised university with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2).
- Inter-University Transfer admission into 200 Level is available across all degree programmes of the University.
Important Notice: Mercy Medical University does not conduct Post-UTME Examination. Admission screening is based on results and is not a physical screening exercise.
Method of Application
Candidates who selected Mercy Medical University as first choice
Visit the University website and apply through the University Admission Portal.
Candidates who did not select Mercy Medical University
Visit a JAMB Accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office to apply for Change of Institution to Mercy Medical University as first choice, then proceed to the University website to apply.
After online application
Applicants should print or save the confirmation slip and regularly check their email and the University portal for admission updates.
