Mercy Medical University (MMU) is pleased to announce the inauguration of its Diploma in Medical Science Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This intensive two-year (four-semester) programme is specifically designed to equip aspiring healthcare professionals with a robust foundation for direct entry into the University's prestigious degree programmes.
The Diploma programme serves as a critical pathway for students aiming to advance their medical and health sciences education. Upon successful completion and based on academic performance, graduates will be eligible for Direct Entry (200 Level) admission into a wide range of accredited undergraduate programmes at MMU.
Important Note
Successful candidates will be required to obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form upon completion of the diploma for the 200 Level placement.

Admission Requirements
O'Level Requirements
Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O'Level credit passes in the following subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings:

Method of Application
Interested and qualified applicants are to follow these steps:
- Visit the official MMU Application Portal: www.mercymedicaluniversity.edu.ng
- Make a non-refundable application fee payment of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) only via the secure Paystack platform.
- Carefully complete and submit the online application form. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
- After submission, check your admission status on the university website using your assigned Application Number.
- Once admitted, accept your offer on the portal and proceed to pay all prescribed fees.
- Print the following documents for physical submission to the Programme Secretary:
- Online payment receipts
- Application slip
- Admission letter
- Duly signed Clearance Form
- Two (2) Attestation Letters (from a Clergy and a School Principal)
- Original O'Level results and birth certificate
- Recent passport photographs
